Natal+Trans →
Maps current planetary pressure on individual chart. "How is today pressing on me?"
Date Range: If a date range is added, the system checks for all periods of exact or near-exact pressure between those dates—not just today.
Comp+Trans →
Maps current pressure on the shared field. "How is today pressing on our connection?"
Date Range: Adding a date range means the system maps every significant pressure on the connection during that window. Results are limited to that span.
Syn+Trans →
Maps current pressure on relational dynamics. "How is today pressing on our interaction?"
Date Range: With a date range, the system searches for all windows where relational tension or harmony becomes active during the specified time frame.
Recognition-First Principle: Choose based on your real question, not technical curiosity. Each mode serves a specific diagnostic purpose within the FIELD → MAP → VOICE framework.
Date Range Effect: Adding a date range turns a "today" reading into a scan for all matching patterns over that period, revealing pressure windows and thresholds—not just a snapshot.

📊 Step Size Explained
Step size controls how frequently transit calculations are performed within your date range:
- Daily: Calculate transits for every single day (most detailed, slower for long ranges)
- Weekly: Calculate transits every 7 days (good balance for monthly+ ranges)
- Monthly: Calculate transits once per month (fastest, good for yearly overviews)
Tip: For quick current checks, use "Daily" with today's date. For longer ranges (months/years), "Weekly" or "Monthly" will be faster.
